Social stuff is really NICE!

Substantial for daily work with Outlook is still a fast and RELIABLE search over all Outlook data!

Therefore I found best:

Lookeen Search (http://www.lookeen.com)!

I've just started using the tool and find the phone number display and schedule time feature invaluable. The ability to click a single link that sends an email recipient my available times directly from my calendar is really a wow, why is this not a standard part of Outlook? Great stuff guys. Some of the analytics are really fun to use and I’m assuming an enterprise version of the client can do wonders for orgs that are reliant on customer service feedback times etc. In the future, I’d like to see more integration with instant messaging clients and VOIP tools. Regardless, Walt is right-on, this is a welcome addition to Outlook, it will make your life much easier.

I too have been using Xobni for a few months. The most significant bug I have encountered is that Xobni will claim that certain emails 'do not exist' although they appear in search results. In this state they cannot be opened from their preview in the Xobni sidebar. They still can be found using standard Outlook methods.

I suspect this misbehavior is enabled by moving email from the Inbox to a local .pst file after it has been indexed, though the occurrence seems random. Uninstalling Xobni, reinstalling, and re-indexing temporarily mitigates the issue.

I've been using it for several months now, and really find it to be invaluable.

I have not been able to figure out how to download the contact information or capture it and make v-cards etc easily, or at least not without alot of cut and paste.
