As a developer I gotta say that Snow Leopard is a big step towards a newer, even better OS. This is a nice stepping stone that I call a must for anyone who likes a faster machine with a smaller footprint. Heck, I just helped a family member install it on their new computer and it freed up about 7+ GB of space and they had pretty much the very basics on it. Then I used the program I made to erase all the foreign language files and now they have even more space. Personally I can't wait to see what Apple comes up with next.

@Joe Coburn: Just because Microsoft doesn't have it together enough to come out with a new operating system for 8 years AND have it as a horribly buggy remake of Mac doesn't earn them any sympathy at all. The only reason I have Windows on my laptop at all is because nearly all games until now have been made primarily for PC. Finally they're being made for at least Mac and PC (and in some cases Linux as well), but until now nearly every game was made for Windows and so I had to duel-boot Windows to play them.

Ok, so by doing the math. He actually saved 13.67 gigabytes of space. He was only off by less than 33 megabytes.
